“Every film has a sound of its own.
My work is to find it.”

My recording career has taken me through different projects, artists and musical worlds. Each record has been an opportunity to explore new sounds and bring the guitar into a different creative space.

I’m a film composer, guitarist and producer based in Bologna, Italy.

My musical background has always moved between two worlds: music for images and record-making. Years of recording, touring and working as a guitarist have shaped the way I approach film music today — through real instruments, organic textures, experimentation and orchestral writing.

I compose original music for films, documentaries and visual media, looking for a distinct sonic identity within each project rather than simply writing music around the images.

I’m particularly interested in how the language of film music continues to evolve. The boundaries between composition, sound design and sonic texture have become increasingly fluid, opening up new ways for music to interact with images. I explore this territory by combining traditional musical writing with processed sounds, acoustic sources and experimentation, allowing the score to become part of the sonic world of the film itself.

My recording career includes projects such as Il Pan del Diavolo, Granpa and Stella Maris, with extensive touring across Italy and Europe and studio work with internationally renowned producers J.D. Foster and Craig Schumacher.

I hold a degree in Music Applied to Visual Media from the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna.

Today, these different experiences come together in my work for the screen: the instinct of a guitarist, the experience of record-making and the narrative language of film scoring.
